リーカーであるJiorīku氏（@Jioriku）は新型「Apple TV」は9月に発表されるとツイートしている。

New Apple TV with new storage configurations and A12X Bionic chipset is ready to go. Expect September and no earlier. Apple is currently putting everything together for an absolutely massive September event.

同氏によると、新型「Apple TV」は新しいストレージ構成と「A12X Bionic」を搭載したモデルとなり、9月に発表されるとのこと。
またAppleは現在、大規模なイベント開催に向けて準備を進めているとも。
他にも「Apple Silicon」搭載の「MacBook」やオーバーイヤー型ヘッドホン「AirPods Studio」などの発表もされると予想しており、今回の情報が正しいものであれば、「iPhone 12」シリーズや「Apple Watch Series 6」などの発表も加味すると、かなり大きなイベントになると予想される。
